Digital ALpha Project

DIGITAL ALPHABETIZATION OF THE YOUNGSTERS WITH EDUCATIONAL DIFFICULTIES

The main motivation to carry out DIGITAL ALPHA Project was the large number of Europeans who are unemployed today, due to the lack of information about the labor market or resources to allow access to work. In order that they can develop their knowledge about digital literacy, expanding the offer of learning opportunities.

The innovation of the project is given by the need to add digital literacy to learning, thus promoting the integration of users. The project plans to develop a model of European training adapted for digital literacy of young people, with a specific perspective on those who have educational difficulties.

In addition, we propose adopting an experience-based approach that can be transmitted through social networks and through training organizations. Involve local stakeholders, as they should mediate between the digital knowledge needs of different target groups and national or EU strategies.

Digital literacy must be learned by all young people and adults, in general to bring added value.

ADVANTAGES OF LEARNING DIGITAL LITERACY:

  • Select and apply ICT devices effectively
  • Use common generic software tools
  • Use specialized tools for work
  • Adapt flexibly to changes in infrastructure and applications
  • Learn to be an informed digital citizen
  • Find a job opportunity
